I remember when you first moved to Brightlingsea. I think you were about 13/14 with your long curtains and an undercut 😆 Although I'm giggling now, it was the height of fashion at the time!
We spent our days and nights hanging around in the town sitting on the stone benches or down the beach at the shelter - anything to get out of the house and have a laugh with our mates.🫂
I have some amazing memories of my teenage years. What a time to be alive and I wouldn't change a thing! 🤩
I'm so pleased that I got to share some of the best times of my life with you, Steve and the rest of the crew. Life is for living and as youngsters, finding our way in the world, we definitely did that! 💥
Rest in peace my friend xxx

Shaun, a remarkable man whose spirit shone brightly even in the face of life's greatest challenges. He battled cancer with unparalleled strength, bravery, and dignity, inspiring everyone around him. His devotion to his son Callum was evident in every moment they shared, and his love will forever echo in our hearts. Though he left us far too soon, the lessons he taught us about resilience and courage will live on. As we honor his memory, let us carry forward his legacy of love and determination. He will always be missed but never forgotten.

I’ve finished life’s chores assigned to me,
So put me on a boat headed out to sea.
Please send along my fishing pole
For I’ve been invited to the fishin’ hole.
Where every day is a day to fish,
To fill your heart with every wish.
Don’t worry, or feel sad for me,
I’m fishin’ with the Master of the sea.
We will miss each other for awhile,
But you will come and bring your smile.
That won’t be long you will see,
Till we’re together you and me.
To all of those that think of me,
Be happy as I go out to sea.
If others wonder why I’m missin’
Just tell ’em I’ve gone fishin’
